Emma, known by her writing alias EJ Perry, devoted her life to uplifting others through the power of education and history. For more than 20 years, she worked in the public school system, guiding underserved youth and ensuring no child was left behind. Her academic journey took her from a BS in Business Administration to a Master’s, and ultimately a Ph.D. in Organizational Management—a testament to her commitment to growth and perseverance.

Her greatest passion was African American history, where she uncovered truths often overlooked in traditional education. Emma believed that to move forward, one must first understand where they come from. Her legacy lives on through the students she inspired, the wisdom she shared, and the unshakable belief that knowledge and resilience create lasting change.
